How we use AI. Including on this site.
We build with AI for a living. So it is fair to ask where it sits in our own work, how much of it made this website, and what happens to anything you send us. This page is the whole answer.
In our own work
We run the tools we recommend. Nothing goes into a client build until it has run in our own business first, which is how we know what a thing costs to keep running and where it falls over.
The list is short and we keep it short. n8n and Make move work between systems. OpenAI, Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini do the parts that need language: reading a message, drafting a reply, pulling the useful fields out of a document someone sent as a photo.
When we put a model into your business we tell you which one, what it can see, and what happens on the days it gets something wrong. A model that is right most of the time still needs a person for the rest, and we design for that from the start.
On this website
This site was designed and built with Claude working alongside us. The code, the layout and the first drafts of a lot of this copy came out of that work.
Every word was then read and checked by a person at Logic8 before it went up. Where a sentence makes a claim, we checked the claim. Where it quotes a number, we know where it came from, and where the number is someone else’s research we name them.
Articles in Insights are written or edited by the person named in the byline, and that name is not decoration. If nobody at Logic8 is prepared to put their name on it, it does not go up.
The photographs
Every photograph and render on this site is synthetic. It was generated for our brand library so a page has something to look at. None of it is a real client, a real office we work out of, or a real job we did.
There are two frames of Sam and Mithun, our founders. Those are reframes of a real photograph, so the faces are real. Nothing else in either frame is real.
We say this plainly because our whole position is that we do not oversell. A generated photograph presented as our boardroom, or as your industry, would be a small lie sitting underneath everything else we tell you.
Your data and AI
What you type into a form on this site is emailed to us through Resend and lands in our mailbox. It is not fed to a model, not used to train anything, and not sold or passed on.
Nothing on this site tracks you. We run no analytics in this release, there is no advertising pixel, and no third-party script is watching what you read. The privacy page has the full list, and it is short.
Where AI is not the answer
Logic before AI is one of our five values, and it is the one that costs us money. Plenty of the jobs people bring us do not need a model at all. They need two systems to talk to each other, or a form that writes straight to the right place, or a rule that runs at 6 am so nobody has to remember it.
Plain automation is cheaper to build, cheaper to run, and it does the same thing every time. When that is the right answer we say so, even when the version with AI in it would be the bigger invoice.
If we do put a model in, it is because the job needs judgement about language, and we will tell you exactly where it can be wrong before you sign anything.
If a tool is doing the work, we say so. That includes ours.
