What this site collects. And what we do with it.
This site has one form on it and no tracking. That makes for a short page, so we have written it as an explanation rather than a policy.
Who we are
Logic8 is a business name of Neo Craft Solutions Pty Ltd, ABN 69 690 607 339. We are in Port Melbourne, Australia. Logic8 was founded by Sam and Mithun, and what comes in through this site is read by people on the team, not sorted by a system. If you want to talk to a person about your information, email hello@logic8.com.au and you will get one.
What we collect
Only what you type into a contact, booking or campaign form. That is your name, your email address, your message, and your phone number if you choose to give it. On the booking form it is also the day and the time you would like.
The form sends two other things with it: the page you were on when you wrote to us, and the name of the campaign if you arrived from one of our ads. That is so we know what you had just been reading. It also carries two hidden fields that catch spam bots, an empty box no person ever sees and the time the page loaded. Neither says anything about you.
That is the list. We run no analytics in this release. There is no advertising pixel and no third-party script.
Our server also sees the IP address your message comes from, the way any web server does. We use it only to stop one connection sending the same form twenty times, it lives in memory for an hour, and then it is gone.
One thing is stored in your browser: whether you chose the light or the dark version of this site. It stays on your device, it is never sent to us, and it is the only thing this site keeps there. It is not a cookie, and this site sets no cookies of its own on any page.
Nobody else sets anything either. Every page on this site is served from our own server, and none of them loads a font, a script, an image or a frame from another company, so no other company sees that you were here.
How we use it
To reply to you. That is the only reason we ask for any of it.
We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell your details, and we do not hand them to anyone who wants to sell you something. If we ever want to send you something you did not ask for, we will ask you first.
Where it goes
Resend, a transactional email service, carries the email to us. What Resend holds while it does that, and for how long, is covered by their own privacy policy. We also send one confirmation email to the address you gave us, so you know it arrived.
Your message sits in our email while we are talking, the same as anything else you send us. We keep it for as long as the conversation is useful. The copy the website keeps for redelivery is deleted within 120 days. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it and tell you when it is done. Email hello@logic8.com.au and say so.
Booking
The booking page is a form, the same as the contact one. You give us your name, your email address, the day and the time that suit you, your phone number if you want us to call, and anything you would like to cover. It comes to us by email, through Resend, and you get the same confirmation copy. There is no calendar built into the page and nothing loads from anyone else.
Sending it books nothing. One of the team reads the request and replies to confirm the time, or to suggest another one. If you would rather sort it out in a normal email, write to hello@logic8.com.au and we will find a time between us.
Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles
The Australian Privacy Principles set out what you can ask of any business holding your information, and they apply to us.
- Access. Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you and we will send it.
- Correction. Tell us something is wrong and we will fix it.
- Deletion. The principles do not give you this one, but ask and it goes.
- Complaint. Email us first. We would rather sort something out directly than have you chase it.
If we do not put it right, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the privacy regulator in Australia. Their site is oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If we change what we collect or where it goes, we change this page and move the date. We will not quietly start collecting something new.
